LOOKING FOR SOME INSTRUCTION?

We offer instruction to schools providing qualified instructors that have taught 1000's of students over the past few years. WE provide everything including enough playing stock for all students to be involved. We offer full day and half day instruction at reasonable rates.

 

Our preferences are to spend a whole day at any given school teaching 4 to 5 classes and we like to work with 35 or less students per class.

 

Our instructors prefer to work in 75 minute time-frames, however we can accommodate any of your needs based on your schedules. Typically based on a 75 minute presentation we would start out with a 15 minute audio/visual presentation usually in the gym where students would be given a short History of the modern day flying disc followed by a Physics lesson on the flight of a flying disc followed by an overview of various throwing and catching techniques.

 

This is then followed by a 30 minute hands-on session of catching and throwing utilizing both forehand and backhand throws and working from pancake catches to one handed grabs. This can either be accomplished within the gym or outside on a playing field.

 

This session is then followed by 30 minutes of games play of either Ultimate or Disc Golf your choice based on your set-up and availability of space.

 

Each school visited receives a teaching kit to continue on with the students for future teachings and play. These kits include playing stock, suitable grade level teaching curriculum, a teaching DVD and rule books along with handouts for all the participants.

 

We have  instructional categories:

A Disc Golf teaching opportunity that includes a practice target and 5 golf disc's

                                   or

An Ultimate teaching opportunity with 10 disc's provided

 

Half day rates are $200 including instruction and teaching materials left behind

Full day rates are $300 including instruction and teaching materials left behind

 

Example if we taught 5 classes during a full day with an average of 30 students per class, that would be 150 students exposed to disc sports at a cost of $2 per student based on our fees below and you end up with $100 worth of equipment also!

 

Don't need the teaching materials left behind...then subtract $100 from the above costs!

Need us for an additional half day or full day. It's $100 for half days and $200 for full days.
